Swedru All Blacks head coach Ahmed Fathi has resigned from his position, attributing his decision to personal reasons.

The Egyptian tactician was appointed after the club secured promotion back to the Ghana Premier League and took charge at a challenging time as the team sought stability in the top flight.

Fathi endured early pressure, with sections of the fan base calling for his dismissal following a difficult start to the season. Despite the scrutiny, the Black Magicians recovered to finish ninth at the end of the first half of the campaign.

In a message shared on social media on Saturday, Fathi thanked supporters for their backing and confirmed his decision to step aside.

"Dear Swedru All Blacks fans, thank you for your support. I have decided not to continue for personal reasons, with full respect to the club and everyone who works in it. I wish the club continued success," Fathi stated.

As of now, Swedru All Blacks are yet to formally confirm the departure of the Egyptian coach.
