Matchday 15 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League produced a string of intriguing results over the weekend, with two fixtures still outstanding.
Bechem United continued their fine home form on Saturday, dispatching Swedru All Blacks 2-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. First-half strikes from Augustine Okrah and Darlvin Yeboah proved decisive as the Hunters claimed all three points.
On Sunday, Dreams FC turned on the style at the Tuba Astro Turf, easing to a 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea. Adams Aminu opened the scoring in the seventh minute to give the hosts a narrow lead at the break. After the restart, Abdul Razak Salifu and Seidu Suraj extended Dreams’ advantage in the 55th and 73rd minutes, before Kofi Patrick Ansu pulled one back for the visitors.
Bibiani United edged Hohoe United 1-0 at the Hohoe Sports Stadium, with Richard Kotey’s 33rd-minute strike enough to secure victory for the defending champions.
Karela United also picked up a vital home win, grinding out a 1-0 success against Vision FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium. After a goalless first half, Malik Abubakar found the breakthrough in the 56th minute to settle the contest.
At the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium, Nations FC claimed a narrow 1-0 win over Young Apostles, Emmanuel Annor converting a first-half penalty to seal the points. FC Samartex recorded a similar scoreline at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, where Emmanuel Mamah’s 44th-minute effort earned a 1-0 victory against Heart of Lions.
There was no separating Aduana FC and Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa, as the two sides played out a goalless draw.
Attention now turns to the remaining fixtures, with Medeama SC set to host Basake Holy Stars at the TNA Park on Monday, December 22, before Asante Kotoko travel to face Eleven Wonders at the AAK Park on Wednesday, December 24.
At the top four positions, Aduana FC, Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak and Bibiani GoldStars occupy the leading positions, while Vision FC, Berekum Chelsea and Eleven Wonders remain rooted in the relegation zone.
