The Black Stars wrapped up their final preparations on Thursday ahead of Friday’s 2025 Kirin Cup clash with Japan, completing an intensive session at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi.
Head coach Otto Addo used the workout to sharpen attacking patterns, tighten defensive structure and rehearse set-piece routines as he moved closer to settling on his starting XI.
All 22 players took part in the session, including late arrivals Benjamin Asare of Hearts of Oak and AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu, who were closely monitored to ensure full readiness for the fixture.
The run-out offered Addo and his technical team a clear picture of the squad’s cohesion and fitness levels as Ghana fine-tunes preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana meets Japan on Friday before turning attention to their next friendly against South Korea.
Kick off for the game is scheduled at 10:00 am.
