Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena.
The club announced on Thursday, June 19, that the 25-year-old is leaving following the expiration of his contract.
Dwamena, a former WAFA player, joined the Porcupine Warriors to bolster their midfield but now moves on as a free agent.
In a statement shared via their official X account, Kotoko expressed appreciation to the player and wished him well in his future endeavours.
“Michael Kyei Dwamena leaves the club after the expiration of his contract. Everyone at Asante Kotoko wishes Michael the best for the future,” the statement read.
Dwamena becomes the second player to officially exit the club today, following the departure of first-choice goalkeeper Fredrick Asare, whose three-year deal also came to an end.
