In an effort to promote youth development and community sports, Mr. C.K. Bebli, a notable figure from the area, has commissioned a state-of-the-art volleyball court in Tegbi Afedome.
This facility includes a standard-sized court and modern volleyball equipment, and it is expected to benefit not only the youth of Tegbi Afedome but also neighboring communities. The initiative aims to nurture local sporting talent and provide a safe space for physical activity, recreation, and community bonding.
During the vibrant commissioning ceremony, Mr. Bebli highlighted the significance of investing in youth through sports infrastructure. “This court is not just for playing volleyball; it is a symbol of hope, discipline, and the power of community,” he stated.
Torgbi Gawu V, the chief of Tegbi, along with residents who attended the event, praised Mr. Bebli for his generosity and vision. They described the project as timely, especially as the area continues to explore ways to empower its youth and encourage healthy lifestyles.
