The Black Stars of Ghana commenced preparations for their upcoming 2026 World Cup Qualifiers with nine players on Monday.
The team officially opened camp in Accra on Monday ahead of the Matchday five and six games of the qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
The Black Stars held their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium with nine players including all three goalkeepers invited for the two games took part in the training session.
The goalkeepers - Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, and Joseph Wollacott - were joined by outfield players Kamaradini Mamoudu, Mohammed Salisu, Gideon Mensah, Razak Simpson, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Antoine Semenyo for the training session.
Mohammed Kudus who is already in Ghana did not partake in the training session but is expected to train with the team today.
The rest of the invited players are expected to join the camp today.
The Black Stars will face Chad on Friday, March 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 19:00 GMT before flying to Morocco to play Madagascar at the Stade Mimoun Al Arsi.
