Ghana striker, Inaki Williams scored in Athletic Bilbao's 2-1 comeback win at Ludogorets Razgrad in the UEFA Europa League Group F clash.
Ludogorets took the lead in the 20th minute when Erick Marcus capitalized on a loose ball from a corner, firing a low shot from outside the box to make it 1-0 after a VAR review confirmed the goal.
Despite controlling possession and creating more chances, Athletic Bilbao struggled to break down the Ludogorets defense in the first half.
In the 73rd minute, Oscar De Marcos delivered a pinpoint cross into the box, allowing Inaki Williams to fire a precise right-footed strike into the bottom corner, equalizing the score.
Just a minute later, Athletic Bilbao struck again on a swift counterattack, with Nico Serrano netting the winning goal.
With this win, Athletic Bilbao solidifies its position in the group in the Europa League and looks to carry the momentum into its upcoming La Liga match against Real Valladolid.
Meanwhile, Inkai Williams will team up with Black Stars teammates next weekend for their final round of qualifiers of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger later this month.
