Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has set sights on clinching the Ghana Premier League goal king at the end of the season.
Amoah, who joined the Porcupine Warriors in the summer transfer window until 2027 has since established himself as a key member of the squad.
The former Great Olympics attacker has scored three goals after seven matches into the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Amoah scored the only goal as the Porcupine Warriors cruised over defending champions, FC Samartex to record a hard-fought 1-0 win at the Obuasi Len Clay on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, the enterprising forward reiterated his desire to annex the Premier League goal king gong at the end of the campaign.
“I’m aiming to win the Ghana Premier League goal king,” he said.
Albert Amoah will hope to continue his fine start with the club when Asante Kotoko travel to play Legon Cities in an outstanding game at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
