West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus registered his first assist of the 2024-2025 season in a 1-0 Carabao Cup win over AFC Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
Kudus’ shot attempt in the 88th minute inadvertently deflected off Jarrod Bowen’s chest and into the net, securing West Ham’s spot in the third round.
The Black Stars midfielder made a significant impact off the bench, contributing 15 touches, a successful dribble, and two ground duel wins in just 16 minutes.
Fellow Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo also impressed in his 22-minute cameo, completing nine of 10 passes accurately and recording 16 touches.
Both players are likely to be named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers in September.
Meanwhile, both Mohammed Kudus and Antoine Semenyo will be included in Black Stars' squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying games against Angola and Niger next month.
