
Former Asante Kotoko winger, Robert Eshun, has passed away in London at the age of 49.
The ex-Ghana international, according to GhanaSoccerNet reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest while driving to work in the early hours of Monday.
Known by his popular alias "Ebo Electric," Eshun is notably remembered for his significant contribution during the 1990 FA Cup final.
His career began at Asante Kotoko, and he later played for clubs in Belgium.
He played for clubs including Turnhot, Tielen, and Lommel during the early nineties.
Eshun additionally had experience in the Turkish Super Lig with Gazientep before concluding his professional career with Sarawak in Malaysia.
