Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus played his first match in pre-season for Ajax on Tuesday during the encounter against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Dutch Eredivisie outfitted hosted the team from Ukraine today as both sides continued with preparations for the start of the 2023/24 football season.
Having started the friendly game, Black Stars poster boy Mohammed Kudus put on a show in the first 45 minutes to win the game for his team.
The talented youngster equalised from 12 yards in the 19th minute to give Ajax the lead after the team won a penalty kick.
Later in the game, the in-demand attacking midfielder showed his quality in the 32nd minute as his pass found winger Steven Bergwijn in a good position to score.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man made no mistake as he equalised to double the lead for Ajax.
Two minutes later, Steven Bergwijn returned the favour as he set up Mohammed Kudus to score his second of the day to complete a fine brace while sealing a 3-0 victory for Ajax against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
Although Mohammed Kudus played only 45 minutes of the friendly today, he was adjudged the best player in the contest.
