Ghana international, Baba Abdul Rahman has signed as a new PAOK FC player ahead of the 2023/24 football season.
Since last month, there have been reports indicating that the Black Stars full-back will terminate his Chelsea contract to move to Greece.
Today, an official club statement from PAOK FC has confirmed the report.
In the statement, the Greek giants indicated that Baba Rahman has been signed on a permanent deal.
“PAEK PAOK announces the acquisition of Baba Rahman by transfer from Chelsea. The Ghanaian full-back signed a contract with Dikefalos until June 30, 2026,” the club said.
Baba Rahman, 29, leaves Chelsea after spending eight years at the club. He joined the Blues from German Bundesliga side Augsburg in 2015 but didn’t fit in.
As a result, he has spent the last eight seasons playing on loan at different clubs in Germany, France, Spain, England, and Greece.
