Hungarian top-flight club, Ferencvaros have announced the signing of Ghana international Kwabena Owusu.
The club has been in the market for a new striker and has settled on the Black Stars attacker.
In an official club statement on Monday, January 30, Ferencvaros welcomed Kwabena Owusu to his new home.
The elated 25-year-old striker in a post on his social media also stressed that it is a great pleasure for him to be in Hungary to continue his career.
“It is with great pleasure and with praise to God that I can announce to become part of your family,” Kwabena Owusu said in a post on Instagram.
The forward has pledged to work hard at Ferencvaros to help the team to win the Hungarian League title and advance past the quarter-final stage of this season’s Europa League.
“In recent weeks I had the chance to learn a lot about Ferencvaros and I saw the world champions from over 100 years ago. I don‘t know many clubs with such a big tradition and it makes me proud to continue this path.
“I come to Budapest with big ambitions. I want to help the team win the league and the Europa League quarter-final. Our team is very strong and I can‘t wait to meet everybody and start playing for this wonderful club,” Kwabena Owusu added in his Instagram post.
