
Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan has reacted to the death of Brazil and world football great, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, popularly known as ‘Pelé’.
The football icon of the world passed away on Thursday, December 29, at the age of 82.
Reacting to news of the death of Pelé, Asamoah Gyan expressed appreciation to the former Santos attacker for paving the way for him and others.
“Thank you for paving the way for us to follow. RIP legend,” Asamoah Gyan said in his tribute to world Pelé.
World Pelé has joined his ancestors after battling cancer for years. His situation got worse this month as his family prepared to bid him farewell.
Following his death, football fanatics all over the world are mourning with the entire Brazil country in a place of darkness.
Pelé in his days won three FIFA World Cup titles with Brazil and won countless individual awards as well. He will never be forgotten.
