King Faisal have reached an agreement with coach Jimmy Cobblah for the veteran tactician to take over as head coach of the club.
The appointment has been made following the club’s announcement that it has parted ways with Serbian gaffer Branko Bozovic.
“The club would like to announce that we have parted ways with our coaches, Branko Bozovic and Ivica Cvetanovski.
“We are grateful for the commitment, professionalism, and passion they displayed during their stay at the club and we wish them the best in their future endeavor,” an official King Faisal statement said on Monday, October 3, 2022.
Speaking on the decision to part ways with Branko Bozovic, King Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah explained that it was the idea of the Serbian coach to leave the club.
“The coach helped us escape relegation but this season after 3 games without good results, he told us he can't continue. Despite everything he improved Enoch Morrison's striking abilities,” the football administrator shared in an interview with Happy FM.
Coach Jimmy Cobblah begins the King Faisal job immediately and must prepare the struggling side in waiting for the resumption of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
