A display of class from Ashanti Gold SC poster boy Yaw Annor saw the forward net a brace on Sunday afternoon to emerge as the top scorer of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The highly-rated forward all season displayed consistent form that earned him a lot of applause.
Despite the troubles of Ashanti Gold SC, Yaw Annor stayed focused and established himself as one of the best players in the Ghana Premier League.
Today, the forward started for his team in the game against Bibiani Gold Stars trailing Asante Kotoko striker Franck Mbella Etouga [21 goals] on the goal king chart.
Thanks to his sensational brace today, Yaw Annor has leapfrogged the Cameroonian attacker to finish the season as the top scorer with 22 goals.
Unfortunately, his brace was not enough to lead Ashanti Gold to victory in the game against Gold Stars.
Two late goals from Joshua Akoto restored parity for Gold Stars to ensure the two teams shared the spoils.
