Ghana Premier League side, West African Football Academy [WAFA] have appointed Guillermo Hamdan Zaragoza as their first-team coach ahead of the 2021/22 football season.
Hamdan Zaragoza has signed a two year deal with the Academy Boys.
He replaces Prosper Narteh Ogum who has joined Asante Kotoko.
“WAFA is a very prestigious institution that has been very successful in the development of players in West Africa," Hamdan Zaragoza told the club's official website.
“I hope that I can come in and contribute to the work that has been done for over 20 years.
“I will mainly be working with the senior side so I will do my best to help them in this last phase of development,” he added.
He holds UEFA PRO coaching certificate and has lived in five countries USA, Mexico, Italy, Qatar and Spain.
WAFA will be hoping to improve their performance next season after finishing 3rd last season.
