Ebusua Dwarfs winger Moro Sumaila starred with a sensational hat-trick to inspire his side to hammer Karela United 4-1 in the Ghana Premier League on Monday afternoon.
The two teams today locked horns at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park in Anyinase to fight for points on matchday 31 of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Needing the three points more, Ebusua Dwarfs played with resilience and ensured that they led at the break courtesy of a strike from Moro Sumaila in the 12th minute of the first half.
Resuming the action to continue to dominate play, the visitors scored three more goals while the home team managed to pull one back.
First, Moro Salifu scored in the 49th minute to double the lead for Ebusua Dwarfs before Enoch Affram also scored in the 67th minute to drag the game beyond the reach of Karela United.
While the home team managed to grab a consolation in the 76th minute through Karmaradini Mamudu, Moro Sumaila equalized to complete his hat-trick in the 81st minute to seal a big 4-1 win for Ebusua Dwarfs.
