Sellas Tetteh, head coach of Liberty Professionals believes his side are in good spirit after sharing spoils with Asante Kotoko over the weekend.
The Scientific Soccer lads hosted the Porcupine Warriors at the Red Bull Arena in the matchday 25 games at Sogakope.
Liberty were eying to frustrate Kotoko to secure all the three points to be able to move from the relegation zone but that encounter ended 1-1 in Sogakope on Sunday.
However, Sellas Tetteh believes the results will sever as a morale boost for his players to win their remaining nine games.
“We were expecting to win [against Kotoko] but it couldn’t but also will project us for subsequent matches we will play," the U-20 World Cup winner said.
“But better still we will work very hard, challenges and difficulties in this game [against Kotoko], we have to work towards it and prepare ourselves very well and programme ourselves very well for our subsequent matches," he added.
Liberty Professionals are lying 16th on the league table with 26 points, same as 16th place Legon Cities FC in 15th.
- What next?
Liberty Professionals will be hosted by Ebusua Dwarfs in the matchday 26 games at the Cape Coast Stadium.
