An impressive performance from Bechem United has seen the team defeating Liberty Professionals 2-0 to amass maximum points this afternoon.
The team nicknamed the Hunters today hosted their matchday 18 opponent of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season keen on cruising to victory.
Although they would dominate play in the first half, they failed to score with attackers missing the target on several occasions.
While Liberty Professionals will have their moments, they could also not bite as Bechem United got the job done in the final 10 minutes of the game.
First, Emmanuel Annor equalized with a smart finish in the 84th minute to shoot the home team into the lead before a strike from Emmanuel Boakye Owusu in added time sealed a massive 2-0 win for the side.
Today’s win sees Bechem United climb to 7th on the Ghana Premier League table while Liberty Professionals stays rooted in the relegation zone.
