Ghanaian top-flight side, Medeama SC has secured the services of Elmina Sharks midfielder Benjamin Arthur to strengthen their squad for the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.
The side based in Tarkwa in the past month has been in talks with a number of players over their possible signings.
Today, the club has announced through a communique on their website that they have completed the signing of Elmina Sharks talisman Benjamin Arthur.
“Medeama is delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Benjamin Arthur on a permanent contract.
“Arthur, 27, has signed a two-year deal with the Mauve and Yellows after ending his stay at Elmina Sharks,” the statement from Medeama SC has said.
The highly-rated midfielder becomes the latest addition to the Medeama SC squad following the captures of striker Amed Toure and winger Zakaria Mumuni.
Ahead of Medeama SC’s clash against Techiman Eleven Wonders in midweek, Benjamin Arthur has been ruled out but is expected to make the matchday squad for the weekend clash against Berekum Chelsea.
