Prolific King Faisal striker, Kwame Peprah has set his sight on continuing his top form in the Ghana Premier League to merit a call-up to play for the Ghana male senior national team.
Nicknamed the Black Stars, the national team of the West African country will next month resume their qualifying matches to the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
According to sources, Ghana head coach CK Akonnor has been impressed with the performance of home-based players in the ongoing league campaign and has hence decided to invite a number of them to camp.
In the midst of his explosive form for King Faisal in the league, striker Kwame Peprah hopes to be one of the players to receive invites.
Speaking in an interview after scoring to help his team beat Medeama SC on Tuesday afternoon, the in-form attacker stressed that he is ready to break into the senior national team.
“I'm fully poised for black Stars call-up and I'm ever ready,” the player who was named NASCO Man of the Match after the Medeama SC match said.
This season, Kwame Peprah has been one of the lethal forwards in the Ghana Premier League and already has eight goals to his name after matchday 13.
