Youngster Ibrahim Issah netted a brace for Dreams FC on Wednesday afternoon to help the team defeat WAFA SC 3-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Dawu-based club today hosted the Academy boys at the Theatre of Dreams determined to pick up maxim points after drawing in their last match.
In the first half where the two teams played some delightful football, neither side could get on the scoresheet and went into the break on level pegging.
In the first ten minutes of the second half, Suleman Fahadu scored with a fine effort to shoot Dreams FC into the lead.
Although WAFA SC will try to get back into the game, their efforts failed to result in goals with young winger Ibrahim Issah scoring a brace, later on, to seal a massive 3-0 win for Dreams FC at the end of the 90 minutes.
Today’s win sees the team climbing to 8th on the Ghana Premier League table and with 17 points.
Despite the defeat, WAFA SC remains in the top four with 18 points from the 12 matches they have played.
