Dreams FC attackers Joseph Esso and Agyenim Boateng Mensah handed the team a 4-1 win in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon after both netted a brace.
The Dawu-based club today hosted the team from Dansoman at the Theatre of Dreams for a matchday 10 fixture in the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
On the back of Dreams FC’s early dominance in the game, they eventual benefited in the 36th minute when young striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored with a fine effort.
Three minutes later, his attacking partner Joseph Esso displayed his scoring abilities when he netted the second goal to double the lead for Dreams FC.
Failing to stay focused, Liberty Professionals capitalized and reduced the deficit in the final moments of the first half with a penalty kick from Daniel Antwi giving the away side hope after recess.
Unfortunately for Coach David Ocloo and his team, they would be overpowered by Dreams FC in the second 45 minutes.
Two additional goals from Agyenim Boateng Mensah and Joseph Esso in the 70th and 89th-minute respectively handed Dreams FC a deserved 4-1 win while condemning Liberty Professionals to another defeat in the Ghana Premier League.
