
Ghana Women’s Premier League team Halifax Ladies FC have been renamed Berry Ladies FC following a change of ownership.
Gifty Oware Aboagye, a member of the ruling National Patriotic Party has successfully taken over the club and has renamed the club to Berry Ladies ahead of the new season.
She is currently the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme in Ghana.
The club has also relocated from Nungua to Madina
Berry Ladies FC will feature in the Ghana FA Women’s Premier League.
