Giants Hearts of Oak on Sunday night defeated Dreams FC 3-0 to record their first win of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Prior to yesterday’s matchday five fixture played at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Phobians had played three games without tasting victory.
Determined to pick up the maximum points from the Dawu-based club, Hearts of Oak manager Kosta Papic fielded a strong team that played to tactics and instructions.
In the end, a first-half strike from Kwadwo Obeng Jnr plus a brace from youngster Michelle Sarpong in the second half handed Hearts of Oak a massive 3-0 win.
The victory has now seen the team climb to 6th on the standings of the Ghana Premier League.
