Ghanaian top-flight side, Legon Cities FC have completed the signing of Jonah Attuquaye on transfer deadline day ahead of the start of the new football season next month.
The capital-based club was rebranded in 2019 and saw its name being changed from Wa All Stars Football Club.
In a campaign where new players and a manager was brought in, Legon Cities FC struggled to compete in the Ghana Premier League.
In a bid to ensure the story is different in the 2020/2021 football season, the club has today bolstered its squad with the acquisition of Jonah Attuquaye from Berekum Chelsea.
“Welcome to a great family Jonah Attuquaye”, an official club statement from Legon Cities FC has said today.
The exciting forward dazzled in the Ghana Premier League where he made headlines on Matchday 1 with his winning goal against Hearts of Oak.
At his new club, he will be expected to strengthen the attack of the team and ensure they are able to win as many games as possible.
