Ghanaian international Osman Bukari provided 2 assists to help his KAA Gent outfit to defeat Beerschot 5-1 in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday afternoon.
Following a very difficult start to the 2020/2021 Belgian Pro League season, Gent has struggled to win games in their first 7 matches.
In a Matchday fixture against Beerschot at the Beerschot, KAA Gent appeared transformed as they totally dominated and thrashed the opponent.
First Roman Yaremchuk opened the scoring for the hosts after 12 minutes of play before Osman Bukari assisted the attacker for his second on the day 3 minutes later.
With striker Laurent Depoitre registering his name on the scoresheet after 29 minutes of the game, KAA Gent controlled the match and went into the break with a comfortable lead.
In the second half, pacey-winger Osman Bukari displayed his creativity to assist Laurent Depoitre for his second of the afternoon before Matisse Samoise netted the 5th goal for the home team.
Though Beerschot equalized through Ismaila Cheick Coulibaly in added time, it could not save the visitors from suffering a 5-1 defeat.
Since joining KAA Gent this summer, Osman Bukari has made 4 appearances and now has 2 assists to his 1 goal for the club.
