Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has been excluded from the Inter Milan squad for the 2019/20 Europa League Round of 16 stage.

Asamoah has become surplus to requirement after returning from injury.

The 31-year-old has previously been a key member of the team since 2018.

Asamoah has made only 11 appearances and provided assist for Inter this term, however, he has featured in 40 league games for the Black and Blues since he joined the club from rivals Juventus.

According to a statement from Inter, the Ghanaian was omitted from the 41-man list submitted by the club to Uefa for the competition
