Sheffield United have intensified their interest to sign Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin after reportedly commencing negotiations with the representatives of the player.

The 22-year old spent the last 4 years with Danish Superliga outfit FC Nordsjaelland before finally deciding to walk away at the end of his contract this summer.

Now a free agent, Abdul Mumin is being chased by Sheffield United with the club determined to bolster their squad before the next football season.

According to information reaching Modernghana Sports, the English Premier League side has started talks with the representatives of the former Right to Dream Academy defender in a bid to wrap up a deal for his signature very soon.

During the 2019/2020 Danish football season, Abdul Mumin made as many as 28 appearances in all competition and chipped in with 1 goal in the process.

Besides Sheffield United, it is understood that there are clubs in Belgium, Portugal, and Scotland interested in securing his services this summer.
