Nigerian singer and rapper Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has issued a stern warning to those she believes are jeopardising the future of the country.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, the entertainer stated that the choice made by citizens in next year's general elections will have a direct impact on their longevity.
Madrina noted that she is praying for divine retribution against anyone playing with the stability of the nation.
The singer's warning comes amid the severe economic hardship currently plaguing Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu's administration, as the President prepares to seek a second term in the 2027 general elections.
She wrote:
"Whoever you vote for next year in the general elections is going to determine if you’re going to live long. Cause I am praying to God to remember all your sins and punish anyone playing with the stability of this country."
