Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has taken to social media to honour the memory of her late mother, Patricia Imuetiyan Ighodaro, marking six years since her death.
The actress shared a memorial flyer on her Instagram page, with a touching inscription confirming the years gone by and noting her mother's lifespan from November 10, 1955, to November 4, 2020.
The grieving daughter accompanied the image with a deeply emotional caption expressing the enduring pain of her loss. Osas stated that while she expected the grieving process to soften with the passage of time, the reality is that it has not become any easier.
She poured out her heart, describing her mother as her ultimate Queen and declaring that she will love and miss her forever.
She wrote:
"Mummy, I miss you. I thought it would get easier with time, but it hasn’t. Miss you so, so much, Mummy ~ my ultimate Queen. May you continue to rest. I miss you so much. I love you forever and ever."
Patricia Ighodaro passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 64, few days before her 65th birthday.
