Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has slammed blogs and netizens for their biased reportage of comedian Ayo Makun's recent UK tour, accusing them of deliberately ignoring his successes to focus on his perceived failures.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the Cardiff stop of AY's 'AY Live: Single and Not Searching' UK tour was thrown into chaos on Sunday, October 25, 2026, after attendees waited for hours for a show that never started.
Following the backlash, AY issued a public apology, explaining that unresolved payment commitments with the organisers delayed their appearance, leaving fans caught in the middle of a dispute. He also called for a clear resolution for ticket holders.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Etinosa pointed out the glaring hypocrisy in the media's coverage, noting that no blog reported on AY's successful shows across the UK.
She noted how the internet went into a frenzy the moment things went wrong in Cardiff, with blogs posting his show for free simply because it was "hot news."
The actress further alleged that since AY came out to clear his name, the same blogs have deliberately refused to share the video that proves his innocence.
Etinosa further called out the negativity, praying that the same evil those bloggers spread never departs from their lives.
She wrote:
"Ever since bros AY came to clear his name, the same blogs that quickly posted his perceived lapses have deliberately refused to post the video that proves he is innocent. Bloody demons. Tarnishing images they never helped to create. Swift to evil. For every blogger that takes joy in spreading falsehood, evil and negativity, may the same evil never depart from your life. Amen."
