Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya has opened up about the depth of her loyalty to colleague Iyabo Ojo, revealing the role Ojo played during some of the most difficult moments of her life.
The Yoruba actress made the revelation during a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV.
Adesanya recounted how Ojo stood by her when she was trying to conceive and even travelled to Akure to fight for her during her previous marriage.
She recalled that on Valentine's Day in 2014, Ojo called her ex-husband and confronted the people making her life difficult in Akure, asking if they wanted to kill her.
According to her, this is why she will always fulfil her responsibilities whenever Ojo's grandson is celebrating his birthday, adding that she is not someone bloggers can use a sad story to exploit.
She also disclosed that she underwent five surgeries in 2022 alone, revealing that her doctor eventually advised her to quit trying.
She said:
"Iyabo who stood by me when I was trying to conceive, Iyabo who came to Akure to fight for me in my previous marriage. On the 14th of February 2014, on Valentine's Day, Iyabo called my ex-husband. He called the people who were making my life difficult in Akure. She asked if they wanted to kill me. So why wouldn't I do my responsibility when her grandson is celebrating his birthday? I am not one of the people bloggers would use their sad story to feed."
"In 2022, I did five surgeries. I did so many surgeries my doctor told me Enough of this."
Toyosi Adesanya and her husband Bola Oyin- Adejobi welcomed their first child in March 2026.
