"God Created Me For A Reason, One Of Which Is To Make My Existence Count – Kunle Afolayan Celebrates 52nd Birthday 

Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has penned a heartfelt message as he clocks 52, reflecting on his purpose and expressing gratitude to those who have shown him love.

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, he shared stunning photos of himself alongside a touching note.

Afolayan stated that God created him for a reason, one of which is to make his existence count. He noted that he has fulfilled that and more through people who genuinely love him, thanking them for their affection.

He also addressed his late mother, whom he fondly calls "Maami," revealing that he felt her presence around him since the previous night. He expressed a wish to see her, hug her, and eat her hot pepper soup, adding that he feels her prayers and misses her deeply.

Wishing himself a happy birthday, he referred to himself as Adekunle Ayodeji Akande.

He wrote:
