Nollywood actor Tayo Faniran has claimed that there is a lot of rigging in the Nigerian film industry.
He made this known during a recent appearance on TVC's entertainment show, eSplash.
According to him, the film producers, actors, and directors widely regarded as the biggest in Nollywood are not necessarily the most talented.
He added that if the industry were strictly about talent, he should be far beyond where he is today.
He said:
"In Nollywood, the film producers, actors and directors you guys see and know as the biggest are not the most talented."
"If Nollywood were strictly about talent, I should be far beyond where I am. There is a lot of rigging in the industry."
