Kwam 1 Brokers Peace Between NURTW Leaders MC Oluomo And Tafa Sego

Veteran Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, has facilitated a reconciliation between the National Union of Road Transport Workers' National President, Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, and the Lagos State Chairman of the union, Mustapha Adekunle, also known as Tafa Sego.

The peace meeting took place at Ojusagbola in Ijebu, Ogun State, with several NURTW chieftains in attendance.

The development was announced on Tuesday through Kwam 1's digital media page on Instagram, where photographs from the meeting were shared. According to the post, the two union leaders have finally resolved their differences after years of a long-standing rift.

The post noted that this was not just another handshake for the cameras, as the two old friends and colleagues came together, with Kwam 1 acting as the peacemaker.

The statement added that Kwam 1 acted in his role as the Mayegun of Yorubaland by seeking an end to the rift once and for all. It also noted that both parties are delighted about the new development, adding that from what is known, this reconciliation is final.

The latest reconciliation comes after years of tension between MC Oluomo and Tafa Sego, who were previously allies within the Lagos NURTW.
