"Nepo Babies Are Always On A Budget – Sharon Adeleke

Sharon Adeleke, daughter of billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, has pushed back against the assumption that children from wealthy homes have unlimited access to money.

Speaking in a recent episode of The Morayo Show, the sister of Afrobeats star Davido, explained that while nepo babies may have more than the average person, their financial access is often restricted.

Sharon noted that many people overestimate the cash available to children from affluent families, explaining that they are usually working within a budget. She said their school fees are paid and they are given assets like land and properties, but they still have to make productive use of those resources.

Sharon, who also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Davido's record label DMW, made it clear that the reality of wealth for nepo babies is far more structured than outsiders assume.

She said:
"A lot of Nepo babies don't really have access to cash the way you guys make it seem. They have more than the average person, but their access isn't unlimited. They are always on a budget. Your school fees are paid, you are given land and properties, but you have to make use of them."
