Davido And I Have No Issues — Rema

Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has dismissed rumours of a rift between him and Davido, stating that there is no issue between them.

In an interview with Ebro Darden and Laura Stylez, he explained that the reports are simply rumours and that he has great respect for the older artists in the industry.

The 'Calm Down' crooner also addressed the role fans play in fueling comparisons between artistes. He noted that fans are usually the ones starting these narratives, and while he used to caution his own fans, he stopped because sometimes the other artiste enjoys the comparisons and does not do the same.

According to Rema, this realisation made him step back from trying to manage the situation.

He said:
"Davido and I have no issues; those are just rumours. I have so much respect for the OGs."
