Survival Has Become A Daily Battle In Nigeria – Nedu Wazobia

Controversial media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has opened up on the state of economic hardship plaguing Nigerians.

Speaking in a video addressing the rising cost of basic necessities, he noted that people are now doing things they never imagined they would do.

Nedu observed that Nigerians are hurting others, betraying trust, and cutting corners, not because they are inherently wicked, but because the harsh economic reality has pushed them to the edge.

He expressed a desire for an economy where hard work actually yields results, where parents can provide for their children without stress, and where ordinary citizens can wake up with less fear and more hope. He emphasised that Nigerians deserve at least that much.

He said:
"People are doing things they never imagined they will do, hurting people, betraying people, cutting corners, not necessarily because they were born wicked but because survival has become a daily battle in this our country."

"We just want an economy where working hard can actually mean something, where a parent can provide for their children without stress and where ordinary Nigerians can wake up tomorrow with little less fear and a little more hope. At least we deserve that."
