Grace Has Carried Me – Hilda Baci Celebrates 31st Birthday

Celebrity chef and entrepreneur Hilda Baci is celebrating her 31st birthday, reflecting on her journey and the grace that has carried her.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, she expressed gratitude for the life she has, the people she loves, and the beautiful things she believes are still ahead.

Baci noted that looking at her birthday photos, she sees more than a woman celebrating another year. She sees the girl who dreamed, the woman who dared, the moments that broke her, and the ones that rebuilt her.

According to the Guinness World Record holder, she is choosing to celebrate her growth, courage, softness, strength, lessons, wins, and even the things she is still praying for. She described 31 as looking good from where she stands.

She wrote:
"Another year. Another chapter. Another reminder of just how much grace has carried me. I look at these pictures and I see more than a woman celebrating a birthday. I see the girl who dreamed, the woman who dared, the moments that broke her, the ones that rebuilt her, and everything in between."

Hilda Effiong Bassey, born on September 20, 1996, is a celebrity chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur, and multi-time Guinness World Record holder.

Hailing from Akwa Ibom state, Baci gained stardom in May 2023 after completing a 93-hour and 11-minute individual cooking marathon in Lagos, a feat that ignited a wave of record-breaking attempts across Africa.

Similarly, in September 2025, she partnered with Gino to set a record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing 1,510 kg and using over 200 bags of rice.

Beyond the records, Hilda Baci is a serial entrepreneur, as she is the CEO and founder of My Food by Hilda, a premium restaurant in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, in addition to hosting the Hilda Baci Academy, where she empowers aspiring chefs through cooking masterclasses.
