Bobrisky Slams Latest Fuel Price Hike, Calls Nigeria A "Zoo"

Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has called out the latest hike in fuel prices, describing Nigeria as a "zoo" and urging citizens to seek a better life abroad.

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, he questioned why fuel is being sold at N1,600 per litre in some parts of the country, noting that the price is even lower abroad.

Bobrisky stated that Nigeria is a country blessed with everything it needs, yet the management of resources has left citizens struggling. He revealed that in his two years of living abroad, he has never experienced fuel scarcity or ridiculous overnight price increases.

He further advised Nigerians to start looking for ways to survive and find a better life outside the country.

He wrote:
"Give me one reason why fuel is N1,600 per litre. We don't even buy fuel for N1,600 per litre here abroad. If you do your mathematics properly, you'll realize that Nigeria is a country God has blessed with everything we need."

"In my two years of living abroad, I have never experienced fuel scarcity or ridiculous fuel price increases overnight."

"To my Nigerians, it's time you start looking for ways to survive and find a better life outside that zoo called Nigeria."

There is a recent hike in fuel prices across Nigeria, which has further frustrated Nigerians, following Dangote Refinery's increase of its petrol gantry price from N1,265 to N1,350 per litre on September 12.

The development has pushed pump prices towards N1,400 in some parts of the country, with some areas selling a litre for as high as N1,600. Transport fares have also been inflated, with commuters facing increased pressure on their daily expenses.
