Popular media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has teased plans to host an 80s-themed party for her birthday this year.
The former OAP made the announcement amid the trending 80s challenge, which has seen many celebrities share edited photos of themselves portraying the lifestyle and fashion of people in the 1980s.
Makinwa, via her Instagram page, said the retro looks have inspired her to bring the era back for her birthday celebration. She noted that the big hair, baggy jeans, oversized jackets, big buckle belts, shiny dresses, and earrings are too good to leave in the past.
The mother of one further quizzed her followers ahead of her birthday in November, asking if they were ready for the party, adding that she is already excited.
She wrote:
"All the 80s look is inspiring me to throw an 80s party this year for my birthday. Shall we? I mean, since we all want to bring back the big hair, baggy jeans, oversized jackets, big buckle belts, shiny dresses, and earrings. November is not too far away, shall we? I am gagged already."
