Afro-house singer Niniola is set to return to music with a new single, "Raining (O du mi)", on Friday, months after the sudden death of her husband, Michael Ndika.
The singer announced the project in an emotional message to fans, describing the song as a reflection of feelings she has struggled to express since her loss.
The track, she explained, serves as an outlet for the grief she has carried, allowing her to channel her emotions into music.
She wrote:
"Some feelings are too deep for words, so I put them in a song, Raining (O du mi), Friday."
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Ndika, who was also Niniola's manager and founder of NaijaReview, passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 44. His death left the singer devastated, and she has since shared several emotional tributes.
