Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has expressed excitement after her film, 'Oversabi Aunty', was celebrated by a large audience in Germany.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of the massive crowd gathered to watch the movie on an open-air screen, she described the moment as unforgettable.
The actress thanked Germany for the warm reception and celebrated the film's international success.
She wrote:
"From Nigeria to Germany. Watching OverSabi Aunty celebrated on a massive open-air screen with this incredible crowd is a moment I'll never forget."
"God did it! Thank you, Germany, for the love. The journey continues…"
The Nigerian Voice recalls that 'Oversabi Aunty', directed by Toyin Abraham, was theatrically released in cinemas nationwide on December 19, 2025.
Starring Toyin Abraham, Mike Ezuruonye, Tana Adelana, Jemima Osunde, Efe Irele, Enioluwa Adeoluwa amongst others, the comedy-drama made history as the first Nollywood directorial debut to cross ₦1 billion at the box office.
