Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has expressed frustration after spending a significant sum to replace mobile phones stolen from guests at his wedding ceremony.
The content creator made the disclosure during a TikTok Live, expressing his displeasure over the overwhelming calls from victims whose phones were snatched outside the venue.
Peller blamed the thefts on street urchins, widely known as "agberos," who gathered outside the venue, adding that he was exhausted by the situation.
He warned that such people would not be tolerated at his upcoming white wedding, scheduled for August 8.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Peller and Jarvis held their civil wedding on July 29 and their traditional ceremony on August 1.
The TikToker announced that his white wedding will be a strictly private event with only 100 invited guests in attendance. He added that security personnel would be deployed to remove anyone loitering around the venue to prevent a repeat of the incident.
