Since Miss Osuji Precious took a break from modeling because of her academic pursuits after winning the 2018 edition of Miss Tourism Imo, her fans and the entire beauty world have been upbeat about her return.

Surprisingly, the very assiduous, focused and result oriented Miss Osuji has within the short break from the camera and glamour sought for more avenue to express her desire to promote charity, peace, socio cultural integration, youth empowerment, tourism, investment and sustainable development in Nigeria and Africa at large.

As a testament of her will and commitment, the 23 year old Precious auditioned for the 2020 Miss Charity Ambassador Pageant and was successfully chosen among those that will contest for the prestigious crown as Miss Charity Ambassador 2020.

In a recent media chat, the undergraduate of Agricultural Economics in the Federal University of Technology Owerri revealed thus: “I decided to use the Miss Charity Ambassador Pageant to announce my come back to the modeling industry. This is because I have always loved helping others and has always had zeal and passion for charitable services.

“The Miss Charity ambassador is a humanitarian platform for young girls who have the compassion to help the less privileged. It crowns queens who would go out and help the less privileged in different states with sponsorship from NGO's or private sponsorship.

“Since inception, the Miss Charity Ambassador Organisation has embarked on a lot of charity campaigns and selfless services. As an organisation registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission, Miss Charity Ambassador Pageant is not just about the funfair of crowning beauty queens, but a platform aimed that discovering and encouraging talented female youths in Nigeria to participate effectively in championing charity campaigns and development in Nigeria”.

Acknowledging the fact that the Miss Charity Ambassador Pageant is not just about the funfair of crowning beauty queens, the creative and versatile Precious hopes to use the platform at discovering and encouraging talented female youths in Nigeria to participate effectively in championing charity campaigns and development in Nigeria.

While talking about her strength and strategies going into the contest, which will hold next month, the courageous Miss Osuji stated that she does not see herself as a contestant rather as a queen already as she would be the best of who she is and ride on the crest of the desire to improve the functionality and redefining the essence of the modeling industry.

Looking at the modeling industry as a whole, the Imo State born beauty queen who has walked on the Runway for Fashion meets Music 2017, Imo Icons Award 2017 and has featured on the Sun Newspaper recounted that her journey into the Modeling Industry has not been an easy one, but the passion for it has been her strength.

“Breaking into the Modeling industry is always a hard one as there are thousands of girls who want to be models. The challenges are many and overcoming them is not easy. At some point I almost gave up but I looked back at where I started from and knowing that I have not gotten to my peak yet, I persevered and here I am”, she explained.

A hardworking, innovative and strong team player, prior to becoming the Miss Imo Tourism, Miss Osuji was the 2nd runners up for the Most Beautiful Model, Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2017. Previously, she was the Best Model for Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2016; and before that she was the 2014 Miss Common Wealth Secondary School Basics.

Given her passion and enthusiasm, we do not have any doubts that if crowned the 2020 Miss Charity Ambassador, Miss Osuji Precious will be an advantage to the continued demonstration of the commitments of the The Miss Charity Ambassador Organization to promoting charity, peace, socio cultural integration, youth empowerment, tourism, investment and sustainable development in Nigeria.
