Popular Nigerian hip hop artiste, Abolore Adigun Akande, who is well known as 9ice, has finally concluded arrangements to release his long awaited albums.
The estranged hubby of artiste manager, Toni Payne, was due to have released his double albums, Bashorun Gaa and Versus, late last year but he later shifted its release to March this year.
The March 2011 release of the albums was later postponed again to another date due to some unclear reasons by the Alapomeji Records boss, which was also not achievable.
But the Gongo Aso crooner has now finally put up final touches in releasing his long awaited albums by his numerous fans, who are eager to listen to new tunes from the talented artiste.
According to 9ice, he said, “by December 7, God willing, Bashorun Gaa and Versus albums drop.”
9ice last album release was the Tradition album, which was released in December 2009, but the album picked up in the early months of 2010.
The album generated a lot of controversies, especially with the track Once bitten.
This song followed forth, with war of words between 9ice and Ruggedman. The once best of friends later became enemies, especially with the leak of a private phone conversation between Ruggedman and 9ice by Ruggedman. The bitterness went as far as both artistes dissing each other.
Though many fans of 9ice are eager to listen to the reply diss track in the albums by 9ice to Ruggedman after Ruggedman' diss song Awodi Eye but what they are not sure of is if 9ice will still include the diss track in any of the albums. The appointed date to know about this is December 7, all things being equal.
