Fellow countrymen and women, at long last, January 7th has been set aside to commemorate our national day of shame; national plagiarism day disguised as a "National Constitution Day".
President Akufo-Addo's disgraceful plagiarism on January 7th 2017, set the tone for plagiarism in this country. Since then, almost every project of the erstwhile Mahama regime is either plagiarized or left to rot. The Kumasi International Airport has been plagiarized; the Tema Motorway Expansion Project has been plagiarized; the Accra Digital Centre Project has been plagiarized among others.
Its worth mentioning that President Akufo-Addo hasn't plagiarized speeches and projects only, he has plagiarized dictatorship; ruling like an Arab King, he is a tyrant that terrifies his subjects, so vicious and grindingly cruel to those who stand in his way. He has clamped down on opposition members and closed media houses that are critical of his regime.
Plagiarism of corruption is also worth noting of this regime. There is unprecedented level of corruption in the country. Real acts of corruption and impunity and not mere perceptions as it used to be in Former President John Dramani Mahama’s regime. Almost every appointee of President Akufo-Addo loots state resources with reckless abandon. Corruption has not been gender balanced, the Female Appointees of the current regime have proven beyond reasonable doubts that women can even loot much worse than the men are doing.
The Kelni GVG queen and minister for Chinese defense and Ayorkor Norway Botchway are living examples. The corruption of this regime is a national security threat, the looting is everywhere, the Jubilee House itself down to the least government department now reeks on a daily basis of wanton sleaze and graft. *Over GHc50 billion has been borrowed so far, and the question we must ask is where is the money or projects to show for the money?*
Simple! The borrowed funds have filtered through the fingers of most of family and friend biggies in government as quickly as the goat's milk goes through the strainer!
Eugune Arhin, the President's speech writer should have been fired after disgracing Ghana to the international community but hell no! He's still at post after 2 years. The president began his clearing prowess then and has since not repented.
I hear today's holiday is earmarked as a National Constitution Day, right? Joke of the century, the NPP boycotted the 1992 constitution, and that's on record, so how can they commemorate something they never supported its coming into being?
_Lets not be deceived, Ghana was disgraced internationally and we must never forget that. We must never forgive also the lazy heads that brought us this shame. Let's keep rememberance of today as a day we swore into office Conmen, lazy heads, looters, liars and dictators of a government._
_Yes, because we now have a government of family, friends, business associates and concubines; a government full of corruption, a government of insecurity, a government of failed promises, a government of lies and deception, a government of unprecedented suffering of the masses, a government of inconsistency, and a government of auto pilot with no direction and policy plans. We are halfway through this regime's tenure and we are still in limbo. One would have thought that with the President's level of experience in politics, law and maturity, things would have been done differently but what we see now is nothing good to write home about._
It is in this respect that we should reflect on this day gargantuan mistake we made bringing this syndicate of mafia men and women to power to reverse the progress we have made. We have the opportunity to reverse this unpardonable iniquity we visited on ourselves.
Till next year this time, keep away from plagiarism!!!
Thank you.
