Godly Grief Produces A Repentance

Teaching the church with the truth and salvation truths with the countenance of God has eluded many churches. Why is that?

This is because of some of the following reasons and many more.

That the leading members quite often are self hired for exploitation.

That the leading members are themselves using foreign powers as their LIFE pattern.

That the leading members doesn't have exemplary life of Jesus Christ or does not express God at all.

That the leading ones are not closer to the CHURCH through JESUS CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 7:10‭-‬11 ESV
For Godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this Godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter.

~~From a careful study of the book of Corinthians, theologians believe that, Paul actually wrote more than 2 Epistles to them. There was some sort of correspondence which involved at least two more letters, they wrote to ask for his direction on topics of debate and disputes. 1 Corinthians chapters 7, 8 and 12 are good examples of Paul answering such questions. How vested is the leading ones in your CHURCH?

Whilst answering their questions and giving Apostolic instructions, Paul also rebuked them for their sinful ways which had been reported to him. Obviously Paul didn't miss words when he chastised them on their life of sin, and this he knew will and did grieved them. Just like Paul you yourself must be example of Jesus Christ living or express God.

Notice Paul's justification for being honest with them, he says "For Godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret", Paul would tell them the truth to upset them, than to have them destroy themselves with wrong doctrines. He wanted them saved and only the truth brings salvation. But a hireling will compromise feeding the CHURCH with the truth because they are of questionable or dubious character ( void of the MOST HIGH GOD dwelling in such individuals.

Unfortunately, this is not what preachers do today. Preachers of today have become stand up comedians who entertain rather than the exposition of Scripture. These are wolves in sheep clothing, the ones specifically warned by the Bible. They know what the sinful people desire, and they tell them exactly what they wish to hear. So who is to be blamed? You! May be it's about time you access your church and it's leadership and make a decision.

If prosperity teachings are all you're hearing, if tithing is the basis of being a church member, if your Pastor has become a sales agent selling you products, if your church is only gathering wealth and not sharing with its members or its community, if immorality is being overlooked... Please run for your life NOW! SCRIPTURE doesn't miss her WORD about running away from such CHURCH and never look back.

Remember, the true Church of Christ is one which proclaim salvation from Christ alone, and will show you from Scripture that, it is based on GRACE alone. (no part played by the sinner). We live by the grace of God through JESUS CHRIST His WORD.Fellowship with a church where Scripture alone is the Authority and nothing else. You will never grow spiritually where these three doctrines are compromised.

Let the Bible be your guide and Holy Spirit will give you a spirit of discernment. Then and only then will Salvation come. Pray and meditate on this passage, ask God's Holy Spirit to lead you to a church where His word is the final authority. The truth hurts but true salvation follows God's word.

BECAUSE THE CHURCH HIS BODY OF JESUS CHRIST IS NOT AN EXTENSION OF THE WORLD. I DOUBT IF MANY OF US UNDERSTAND OR KNOW THAT. NEITHER DOES ATTENDING BIBLE COLLEGE MAKES YOU A GOOD SHEPHERD OR CHRISTIAN. TRANSFORMATION COMES AS A RESULT OF CLOSENESS TO GOD.
